With the cooler weather finally here, Lacie and I are planning to hike the 76 miles on the Appalachian Trail through GA! The one thing I dread on hikes is having to come back down, especially on steep rocky terrain with my knees. 2020 has been one crazy year. I flew to Georgia at the end of March from SoCal with two small suitcases thinking I would be back in 2 weeks. It’s been over 9 months now and I’ve been so incredibly fortunate to be able to work remotely and spend this year with my family and friends, but especially my parents. 💕 Wishing everyone a safe, happy and most importantly, healthy New Year.

Quick little evening ride yesterday! So happy to be reunited with my bike. 🙌🏻 Can I also just say how awesome @fidlockbike water bottles are?! I know I’m late to the game, but I love the clean look and the fact that you can just twist off and snap back on!

Lace is a beast and did her first 12 mile bike ride running along side of me today (like it was nothing, lol). I wish I enjoyed sprinting as much as her. 😂 The stamina that is contained in her. 🐶 🏔

Finally got around to checking out Blankets Creek the other weekend! I don’t ride near the metro area much, but as far as trail systems go (not including skills parks) this and Sope Creek would have to be my top two!

We haven’t done too much hiking this year like we normally do in SoCal, but Mt. Mitchell in NC is still on my list of hikes to do! Highest point east of the Mississippi- Lace and I must check it off! Have any of you guys done that hike?
