A clean slate .
For the past few months, I have been contemplating deleting this page completely and only keeping my music blog. I archived more than a thousand photos (I’ve been on insta since 2011, so it’s like 7.5 years of my social media life haha 😅) In the end, I couldn’t make myself archive everything and delete the page, since there are still so many memories among the photos left and so many friends here who I constantly communicate with through insta. So I just decided to start over, but in the same place 😊
And here is the reason why: I was going through some of the old posts and thinking to myself, “wow, here is where I was completely heartbroken, or here is the time when nothing in life made sense to me, or here is the darkest times I’ve experienced, or here is the happiest days of my life by far,” and it all looked the same. And the captions read “happy days,” or whatever vague shit we all love to write on social media 🙈 and I remembered the times when I first started writing/blogging online on LiveJournal. I was unafraid of being me and just sharing my observations on life and “growing up,” and I was honest (as much as you can be in the online world). I loved writing more than anything and honesty came attached to that. .
Looking back, I think I just slowly transitioned into writing what I thought was cool enough and vague enough for people to somewhat know me, but to not know who I really was.
This year has been life changing, and the way I see myself changed, as well as the ways I create. That’s why this page is bound to change, too 🙂 I’m still gonna share travels, and fashion and awesome brands I love and am passionate about, but I’m gonna try to write way, way more whenever I can and share more of me in written form along with all the photo content, so hopefully you guys will stick around. And to those who’ve been supporting me, this page, and my music blog all these years, THANK YOU.♥️
