Another fashion week in the books! As I reflect on my time in New York, this trip was so needed. I got to have good talks with friends, eat all the pizza, meet with some of my favorite brands, experience amazing shows/presentations, and spend a day walking around the city. In this industry there’s so many ups and downs, but for me, fashion week reminds me of why I do this and inspires me to keep going and do better because this is my dream. My name is Greta and I don’t have my life together. I always thought that by the time I turned 30 I’d have everything figured out. I’d have a good savings account, retirement planned, would be better with my schedule and just feel more “adult.” So here I am at 30. I wait until the last second to put gas in my car, I wear the same thing two days in a row, my clean laundry has been on the guest bed for over a week and I ate cereal for dinner. But it’s okay if this is thirty and I don’t have life figured out yet, there’s anxiety and unknown in this new decade of life but there’s some beauty in it too. So here’s to Fruit Loops for dinner and digging through a mountain of laundry to find clean underwear. What’s one thing you would say to your younger self?
