We have talked so much about how pandemic affects the elders, the working generations, and even freshgrads. But have you considered how it affects children, whom we should protect the most? According to UNICEF, the pandemic is not only stressful for children, but also impacts their growth. As many parents suffer from job losses or income decrease, children bears the domino effect by getting less nutritional intake in their daily life. So how can we help them? As a company that holds up the vision “One Planet. One Health” we always commit to ensure everyone can get healthy food everyday. To support children to grow healthily during this pandemic, we collaborated with many stakeholders to produce nutritious food for them. Because when we take care of the children, we are taking care of their present and also their future.

Covid-19 has hit people’s livelihood so bad including our partners, canteen ladies, who have been supporting us in spreading awareness of the importance of healthy and balance nutrition for children. In response to this situation, also as an extension of our company’s mission “bringing health through food to as many people as possible”, Danone SN Indonesia, Danone Ecosystem Fund and Foodbank of Indonesia have committed to provide emergency support to 234 canteen ladies in Ambon, Bandung, Bogor and Jogjakarta. Through this support, we wish to rebuild Ibu Kantin‘s confidence that they can sustain their basic needs. Let’s rise against the pandemic together.

When we packed out stuff and cleaned the desk three months ago to start #workfromhome, little did we know that we will leave the office this long.
