I don’t know what it is but sometimes when I get stuck in a rut, creating something new gives me a push out of my confined sink hole. This week I brought out some paint and refinished this vintage hummingbird wall hanging. A small project that only took a few hours has really pulled me out of the slump I was in. On my family tree, I am the youngest, so by default, I am a mixture of creative, quiet, and stubborn with a taste for pursuing paths that made me stand out from my 8 other siblings. When I was a kid, my mom used to say she didn’t know what I would be, but knew it would be different from anything else our family has ever done. Boy was she right. No one could envision it because it didn’t even exist at the time. I’ve found infusing my personality into my photography and blogging career serves as the propellant for my business! Ahhhhhh, the great outdoors. My favorite outdoor activity is taking a walk through the mountains or any forested area. I I also love camping, or just sitting by a stream listening to the sounds of nature.
